On the occasion of Vishva Namokar Diwas, a special Namokar Mahamantra chanting programme was organised on April 9 at Mahavir Bhawan, Digambar Jain School and Digambar Jain Hospital, Dimapur, with prayers offered for world peace.
The programme was held under the leadership of the under-construction JITO team and guidance of Digambar Jain Samaj. Members from Jain Samaj, Agarwal Samaj, Maheshwari Samaj and Brahmin Samaj gathered at Mahavir Bhawan to collectively chant the sacred mantra for global harmony.
At Digambar Jain School, students and teachers participated, while doctors, staff and patients joined the chanting at Digambar Jain Charitable Hospital along with community members. Organised against the backdrop of global uncertainties and threats of war, the event was a sincere effort to promote peace. The coming together of diverse groups symbolised social unity and reflected the strength of collective harmony.
