According to RWS president A Shyerhunlo Lorin, the incident occurred along the National Highway between Keithelmanbi and Sapermeina under Kangpokpi district.

RWS urged the authorities to take immediate and firm action, ensuring strict legal punishment and strengthening security along vulnerable routes, particularly for civilians engaged in livelihood activities.
