Fazl Ali College organised its Parting Social on April 13 to bid farewell to the graduating batch of 2023–26.
In his address, Principal, Dr. I. Wati Imchen said the outgoing students had, over the years, shown resilience, perseverance and a genuine thirst for knowledge. He acknowledged their growth during their time in the institution and expressed confidence that these qualities would guide them in the future.
He reminded the students that life beyond college would bring challenges and uncertainties, and stressed the importance of facing them with courage and determination. He also encouraged them to dream big and strive for higher goals, adding that true success lies not merely in achievements, but in the impact one makes on society.
The program also included, best wishes extended by FACSU, Assistant General Secretary, Y. Yongkai Phom, a tribute song to the graduating students was presented by Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, Chubamenla Chang, experience sharing by the outgoing students Putusosang T. Jamir (BA 6th Semester) and Tasakala (BSc 6th Semester) and special presentation by the BA and BSc 6th Semester students and a special prayer led by Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Dr. Imliwati Longkumer.
The programme began with the welcome of the outgoing students followed by the College Anthem. The event was chaired by BA 4th Semester, Kilenmenla Longchar, invocation by EU FAC, Prayer Secretary, Sentilila and a vote of thanks by FACSU, Social Service Secretary, Beiu Kampao.
