Dimapur Bongs to host ‘Aahobane 1433 – Musical Night’ on April 18

Dimapur Bongs will organise “Aahobane 1433 – Musical Night” on April 18 at DDSC Stadium in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Government of Nagaland.
The announcement was made during a press conference held at Hotel Saramati Conference Hall, Dimapur, on Wednesday. Organisers informed that the event will commence from 6 pm. “Aahobane,” symbolising the Bengali New Year, will mark the beginning of the new year with celebrations centred on joy, culture and togetherness.
Organisers stated that the programme aims to go beyond a musical evening by promoting unity, youth empowerment, cultural diversity and social responsibility. The event will feature performances by T.R.A.P (The Radical Array Project), contemporary fusion band INSYNC, and folk fusion artist Imna Yaden. A special segment will also highlight emerging local talents.
Reiterating their motto “Help the Helpless,” Dimapur Bongs said the event is being organised as a fundraising initiative to support its ongoing humanitarian activities, including educational assistance for underprivileged students, medical aid, blood donation services and disaster relief efforts.
Providing background, the organisation informed that Dimapur Bongs is a registered society with over 250 active members and has been actively engaged in social and cultural initiatives since its inception.
The organisers expressed optimism of drawing a crowd of over 5,000 attendees, with sponsorship opportunities available under various categories such as Title, Diamond, Gold and Silver, offering visibility through event branding and promotions.
Minister of Tourism & Higher Education, Temjen Imna Along, will grace the occasion as the chief guest.
Tickets are available at designated outlets across Dimapur, including the Dimapur Bongs Office (Kalibari Road), Royal Enfield Showroom and Nerolac Showroom (Army Supply Road). Entry fees have been fixed at Rs. 300 for regular tickets, Rs. 1,000 for premium entry and Rs. 2,500 for couple entry. Tickets can also be booked through QR codes on official promotional materials.
