The Oriflame-presented WhosThat360 North East Influencer Yatra reached Kohima on April 17, where it was held at Old NST, bringing together creators, entrepreneurs and women in a bid to promote talent and micro-entrepreneurship in the region.
Amid the rapid growth of India’s creator economy, the Yatra has emerged as one of the largest regional influencer campaigns in the country, offering a platform to youth, content creators and aspiring entrepreneurs from Northeast India.
Having already covered cities including Shillong, Agartala, Aizawl and Dimapur, the campaign drew enthusiastic participation in Kohima from students, beauty enthusiasts and local influencers. The initiative will now move to Guwahati, Nagaon, Dibrugarh, Itanagar, Darjeeling, Siliguri and Durgapur, before culminating in a grand finale in Kolkata.
A key attraction of the event was the Oriflame Beauty and Wellness Partner Truck, which hosted live beauty masterclasses, skincare workshops and creator auditions. Participants also engaged in product discovery sessions, gaining hands-on experience with a range of skincare, cosmetic and wellness products.
The Yatra aims to empower individuals across sectors such as beauty, fashion, food, travel, wellness and lifestyle, encouraging them to showcase their talent while exploring entrepreneurial opportunities.
Through Oriflame’s Brand Partner Programme, participants are introduced to flexible business models that enable them to earn income and build independent ventures, with a particular focus on promoting financial independence among women.
Organisers said the initiative is helping bring Northeast talent to the national stage while fostering a new wave of creator-driven entrepreneurship across the country.
