United College of Theology and Missions holds 29th convocation ceremony

United College of Theology and Missions (UCTM) held its 29th convocation ceremony on April 16 at Baptist Church Sovima, where 40 students graduated from various theological programmes.
Degrees were conferred in Master of Theology, Master of Arts in Mission, Master of Divinity, Bachelor of Theology and Diploma in Mission Studies. The Principal, on the recommendation of the Academic Dean, formally commissioned the graduates for Christian ministry.
The programme featured a procession, hymns, Scripture reading, convocation address and commissioning prayer. Guest speaker Huzo Meru delivered the convocation address, while Suluvelu Keyho spoke on behalf of the graduands.
Special awards including D. Haralu’s Award, Principal’s Award, Student of the Year and Best Preacher were presented during the ceremony. Graduates hailed from across Northeast India and Myanmar, reflecting UCTM’s wide mission outreach.
