Aahabone 1433 celebrations concludes in Dimapur

The Bengali New Year Festival Aahabone 1433 concluded with a grand celebration at DDSC Stadium, Dimapur on April 18, organized by Dimapur Bongs in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Government of Nagaland.
The event drew an overwhelming response, standing out as a vibrant showcase of culture, unity and community spirit.
Though Minister for Tourism & Higher Education, Temjen Imna Along, could not attend due to health reasons, the programme was graced by advisor for Tribal Affairs & Elections and MLA, Government of Nagaland, H. Tovihoto Ayemi and state president of BJP Nagaland, Benjamin Yepthomi, along with respected DMC Councillors and other distinguished guests.
The evening was hosted by Pooja Das Paul and Pampi Sarkar, while convenor Abhijit Bhattacharjee extended a warm welcome and expressed gratitude to all present.
A special highlight was the felicitation of unsung heroes, notably Narayan Debnath, for his invaluable contributions to society.
Sponsors, well-wishers and artists were also recognized for their support. The programme featured cultural performances and community participation, reinforcing the spirit of togetherness.
