Impur Bible Seminary holds 68th graduation ceremony

Impur Bible Seminary celebrated its 68th Graduation Ceremony on Thursday under the theme “Here Am I, Send Me” (Isaiah 6:8).
The solemn occasion was graced by senior pastor of Kohima Ao Baptist Arogo (KABA), Rev. Sentisashi Aier, who delivered the commencement message. In his address, Rev. Sentisashi emphasized the urgency of responding to God’s call with faith and obedience, reminding graduates that theological training is a preparation to serve both the church and society with humility and dedication. He exhorted that ministry is not merely about holding a title or completing studies, but about cultivating a living relationship with God, aligning service with His mission, and embracing the call with courage and humility.
The dedicatory prayer was offered by pastor of Mopungchuker Baptist Church, Rev. Jongpong, invoking blessings upon the graduates as they embark on their ministry journey.
This year, 46 students were conferred with the Diploma in Theological Studies, marking the culmination of their academic and spiritual formation.
The diplomas were formally presented by Academic Dean Sungjeminla and conferred by chairperson of the IBS Board of Governors, Shilula, together with Principal Imtilemla. Their joint presence underscored the seminary’s commitment to academic excellence, spiritual growth and leadership development.
Academic awards were also presented to outstanding students in recognition of scholarship and character.
The ceremony stood as a testimony to God’s faithfulness and the seminary’s mission of equipping men and women for diverse ministries. With the theme “Here Am I, Send Me”, the graduates were exhorted to carry forward the vision of the seminary and serve as faithful witnesses of the Gospel in the world.
