Science exhibition held at Tseminyu lighthouse school

The lighthouse school, Tseminyu, under the Department of School Education and Nagaland Education Project – The Lighthouse (NECTAR), organised a science exhibition at Town Hall, Tseminyu, on April 24.
Gracing the occasion as guest of honour, EAC Tseminyu, Omajen Ozukum, expressed happiness at government schools jointly hosting such an event. He urged students to take advantage of the opportunity to cultivate a scientific mindset and adapt to the changing dynamics of the world. He further noted that initiatives like this would provide valuable exposure and enhance student confidence.
Principal of GHSS Tseminyu and chairman of the LCC, Hechulo Semy, presented an overview of the exhibition, which featured 26 projects from six schools—GHSS Tseminyu Old Town, GHS Tseminyu New Town, GMS Tseminyu village, GPS Tseminyu South village, and GPS Zisunyu village. Students from all four educational stages—foundational, preparatory, middle and secondary—showcased their projects for parents, peers and the public.
The programme was chaired by Jetile Kath, GT, GHS Tseminyu New Town, with invocation by K. Munenle Tep, AHM GHS Tseminyu New Town. A special number was presented by Class 12 students of GHSS Tseminyu.
