

A series of felicitation programmes were organised across Nagaland to honour achievers of the HSLC and HSSLC 2026 examinations, recognising the dedication of students and teachers while encouraging them to strive for excellence.
In Dimapur, the All Nagaland Private Schools Association (ANPSA), Dimapur Unit, held its felicitation programme at Holy Cross Higher Secondary School under the theme “Celebrating Excellence and Inspiring Future Achievements.”
A press release by ANPSA Dimapur Unit informed Lokayukta Nagaland, Nino Iralu, graced the occasion as chief guest and commended the students and teachers for their exemplary dedication and encouraged them to strive for greater achievements in their academic and professional endeavours.
A total of 57 students and 39 teachers were felicitated during the programme. Among the students, 26 HSLC toppers were recognised along with four students from HSSLC Arts, 12 from HSSLC Commerce, and 15 from HSSLC Science streams.
In addition, 39 subject teachers, whose guidance played pivotal role in shaping these exceptional results, were also felicitated in recognition of their invaluable contribution to education. All the honourees were presented with certificates and medals as a mark of recognition for their outstanding performance.
Nkialwa Students’ Union (NHB) organised felicitation at Rehangki Conference Hall, Jalukie Town, honouring successful HSLC and HSSLC candidates along with five newly recruited constables. NHB president Keyinreulu congratulated the achievers and highlighted the Union’s initiatives such as the Cherry Plantation Project, Students’ Union Prayer Day, Academic Award and Cleanest Colony Award. Special guest Haito Zeliang, NPF Working president, 7-Peren A/C, urged students to remain focused, preserve their identity and heritage, and pursue quality education.
Former chairman of Nkialwa Village, Ipungba, also addressed the gathering while Youth Director of Nkialwa Baptist Church, Ichidau Rangkau, pronounced a blessing upon the students.
The programme also featured special songs and the presentation of the Nkialwa Students’ Union Academic Award (NHBAA) with a cash prize of Rs. 5,000 to Kidotei Nren. Keyilungchi Rangkau delivered the vote of thanks.
Meanwhile, the Upper Khomi Students’ Union (UKSU) conducted felicitation at Upper Khomi Baptist Church, Phek district. Speaker Kulupoyi V Vadeo, VDB secretary, congratulated the students and emphasised value-based education, practical skills, digital literacy and responsible citizenship. He urged the youth to remain disciplined, uphold moral values and contribute meaningfully to society. The programme included greetings from UKSU president Dupoyi Nienu, prayers, scripture readings, special songs and award presentations.
A special prayer for the students was also offered by Husapa, pastor UKBC.
The programme was led by Mulevo Nienu, general secretary UKSU, Mutselu Huzhu, asst. general secretary UKSU, gave the presentation of awards.
