Aliba Village to host 5th Cucumber Festival on May 7

DIMAPUR: The 5th edition of the Cucumber Festival will be held on May 7 at Aliba Village under Mokokchung district.
According to a press release issued by Chief Veterinary Officer & PD ATMA Mokokchung, Dr. Tiachuba Jamir, the festival aims to promote off-season cucumber cultivation, showcase farmers’ innovations, and encourage sustainable agricultural practices in the district. The event will bring together progressive farmers, agricultural officials and stakeholders, and will feature exhibitions alongside local activities, highlighting the importance of innovation and sustainability in farming.
