The Buffet ticket

Sir,
Lately there is a trend of fundraising by different organisations, unions, societies, Churches, etc. through a “Buffet”.
We all have already purchased enough tickets out of compassion and compulsion. The richer the family is, the more buffet tickets they are expected to buy.
But one disturbing trend on the day of the Buffet is shortage of foods. Volunteers telling the well-wishers who bought the tickets that the foods are finished despite the actual closing time and hours is very disappointing.
It is the right of the ticket buyers to get enough foods as long as they reach the venue even if there are only 5 minutes remaining for closing hours. But sadly after standing in the long queue we often find shortages of foods and have to return back to either cook food at home or end up having in the restaurant and the interesting part is the buyer’s never get any refund.
What the organisers need to know is to provide sufficient foods as per the ticket sold and also to refund if they fail to provide the foods till the last hours as mentioned in the ticket. Telling the well-wishers to reach the venue as soon as possible in order to have the food is totally unfair when it is the duty of the organisers to provide sufficient foods till the last minute of the closing hours.
After maneuvering the traffic most of the people reach along with their families and stand on the queue just to find out that the foods are already finished is really disappointing. So whoever Organize such events in the days to come must ensure to provide sufficient foods and also should refund if the foods are finished before the last minute of the timing as mentioned in the tickets.
