NNC/FGN opposes IAF radar installation

DIMAPUR: The Naga National Council and the Federal Government of Nagaland (NNC/FGN) have strongly opposed the proposed installation of the Indian Air Force (IAF) Mountain Radar System at Pfutsero under Chakhesang Region.
A press release by secretary, Killo Ministry, Federal Government of Nagaland, the NNC/FGN asserted that it would never allow the installation of the proposed radar system not only at Pfutsero but anywhere across Nagaland.
The organisation described the proposed radar installation as an act of aggression and reiterated its opposition to the move, maintaining that the people of Nagaland would not permit such developments in the region.
