NEW DELHI, MAY 19 (PTI): Petrol and diesel prices were raised by about 90 paise per litre on Tuesday as state-run fuel retailers moved to narrow mounting losses triggered by a sharp surge in global crude oil prices following the Iran conflict.
The latest increase follows a Rs 3-per-litre hike on Friday- the first fuel price revision in more than four years. Petrol in Dimapur now costs Rs. 100.13 a litre and diesel Rs.91.58 per litre while in Kohima, petrol is priced at Rs.101.31 a litre and diesel at Rs.92.52 a litre.
