DIMAPUR: Delhi Public School Dimapur (DPSD) organized a felicitation ceremony on May 19 to honour outstanding achievers of the CBSE Senior Secondary Examination 2026, celebrating academic excellence, perseverance, inclusivity, and parental support.
Altogether, 91 students who secured 80 per cent and above were felicitated during the event. Six toppers scoring 95 per cent and above received cash awards of 25,000 each, while 14 students securing between 90 and 93.8 per cent were awarded15,000 each in recognition of their outstanding performance.
Among the toppers, Samrat Das emerged as the school topper with 97.6 per cent. Sangya topped the Commerce stream with 95.2 per cent, while Yevino secured the highest marks in the Science stream with 95 per cent.
Addressing the gathering, principal G. Mala congratulated the students on their achievements and appreciated the unwavering support extended by parents and teachers in shaping their success.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Aotoshi highlighted how students successfully balanced academics with co-curricular activities and emerged as well-rounded achievers. He also underscored the importance of strong parent-school partnerships in nurturing disciplined, confident, and responsible individuals prepared to face future challenges with resilience and integrity.
Speeches on behalf of parents were delivered by Atila Longkumer, Gentleson Vashum, and Vikeyie Kennao.
The programme was attended by chairman S. I. Jamir, pro vice chairman Dr. Aotoshi, treasurer Maronen, principal G. Mala, students, parents, teachers, and staff members.
The ceremony concluded on a celebratory note, reflecting the school’s commitment to academic excellence, holistic development, and inclusive education.
