Purana Bazar ‘B’ VC bans heavy vehicle

DIMAPUR: Purana Bazar ‘B’ Village Council (PB ‘B’ VC) has restricted movement of heavy vehicles within its jurisdiction from June 1 to September 30, 2026.
The council informed that the restriction would apply to all heavy vehicle owners, operators and transport agencies, particularly those engaged in transporting earth-filling materials, sand and gravel. The council said the measure was taken in the interest of public safety, to prevent road damage.
