More condolences on Mrs. Khotuou’s demise

DIMAPUR: Tributes and condolences have been expressed by various organisations over the demise of Mrs. Khotuou Liezietsu, wife of former Nagaland chief minister Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, who passed away on May 24 at Apollo International Hospital, Guwahati.
Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), in a message issued by its national secretary S. Richard Humtsoe, described Mrs. Liezietsu as a woman of grace, humility and quiet strength who stood steadfastly beside her husband throughout his distinguished public life and service to the people of Nagaland. The party said her motherly affection and noble character earned her respect across the state, and prayed for strength and solace to the bereaved family.
NPF Mokokchung division also mourned her passing, recalling her remarkable grace, quiet dignity and unwavering faith. It stated that behind Dr. Shürhozelie’s public service stood her enduring strength, prayers and support. As a devoted wife, loving mother and respected matriarch, she touched countless lives through her kindness and wisdom. The division extended condolences to the family and prayed for God’s comfort and peace.
Nagaland Gorkha Association (NGA) conveyed condolences to Dr. Shürhozelie and family, describing the demise as shocking. It prayed for strength and comfort to the bereaved family and for eternal peace of the departed soul.
