NSF reiterates ‘One Voice, One Naga’ stand

DIMAPUR, MAY 28 (NPN): Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening Naga unity and collective identity, while extending solidarity to Nagas affected by the ongoing conflict in Southern Nagalim.
In a press release, Naga Students’ Federation said the resolution on “Re-strengthening Naga Unity and Collective Identity” was unanimously adopted during its 2nd Federal Assembly held at Jongpha Village (Western Rengma), Karbi Anglong, Assam, hosted by Rengma Students’ Union (RSU).
The federation stated that despite artificial boundaries and geographical divisions imposed upon the Nagas, all Nagas must remain united under the enduring spirit of “One Voice, One Naga”.
The assembly called upon all sections of Naga society to rise above differences and work collectively towards strengthening solidarity, cooperation and mutual understanding for the collective welfare, security and future of the Naga people.
Following deliberations, the house unanimously reaffirmed its commitment to preserving Naga unity and advancing the shared vision and aspirations of the Naga people in one voice and one spirit.
The house also resolved to extend solidarity to Nagas affected by the ongoing conflict in Southern Nagalim and strongly condemned the alleged attacks on Naga civilians by Kuki militants and their cohorts, reiterating its stand that “Any attack on one Naga is an attack on all Nagas.”
Further, NSF appealed to all Naga citizens to uphold prayers for the well-being, safety, peace and unity of the Naga people wherever they may be.
