3rd Gladiator & Gladiatrix Squat Rep Challenge in Kohima

KOHIMA, MAY 28 (NPN): Fit Palace, Kohima has officially announced the III Edition of the “Gladiator & Gladiatrix Squat Rep Challenge”, scheduled to be held on May 30 at Fit Palace, Kohima.
According to the organisers, the event is open to all participants, welcoming fitness enthusiasts from various gyms, fitness communities and individuals to compete in a test of strength, endurance and determination.
The challenge will feature separate categories for men and women. Under the “Gladiator” category, participants weighing under 75 kg will compete in the 80 kg squat challenge, while those weighing 75 kg and above will compete in the 100 kg squat category.
For the “Gladiatrix” category, participants under 55 kg will perform 40 kg squats, while those weighing 55 kg and above will compete in the 60 kg squat category.
The competition format will require participants to perform the maximum number of squat repetitions within a two-minute time cap.
Organisers informed that the event will offer a cash prize of Rs. 4,000 for each category under a “winner takes all” format, with one winner to be declared in every category.
The registration fee has been fixed at Rs. 200. Weigh-in for participants will be conducted on the event day from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., while the competition will commence from 10 a.m. onwards at Fit Palace, Kohima.
The organisers also stated that rules and regulations for the competition would be briefed on the event day itself.
