Non-cooperation with DNSU, says DUCCF, DCCI, GBUDS

DIMAPUR, JUN 3 (NPN): Dimapur Urban Council Chairmen Federation (DUCCF), Dimapur Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) and GB Union Dimapur Sadar (GBUDS) have informed that they have initiated non-cooperation with Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU).
In a joint press statement issued by presidents of DUCCF Zasivikho Zakiesato, DCCI Akashe Zhimomi and GBUDS Kholie Kapfo, the organisations said the decision was taken after DNSU outrightly rejected the six-point resolution adopted during a joint general meeting held on May 14, 2026, at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur.
While reiterating their stand on the resolutions adopted at the meeting, the organizations stated that the non-cooperation would remain in force until DNSU demonstrated due respect for the six-point resolution and acted in accordance with the collective decisions and interests of the concerned bodies.
Further, the three organisations also appealed to deputy commissioner Dimapur to summon Girdharilal for questioning regarding the alleged fraudulent procurement of a non-Naga Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate, as raised by DNSU, for early resolution of the matter.
