DIMAPUR: The Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN), through the office of the Central Administrative Officer, Chakhesang Region, has issued a public notice enforcing a strict policy of zero tolerance against illegal activities involving prohibited substances and intoxicants.
In a public directive issued by kilonser, caretaker C.A.O of Chakesang region, Neisalie Krome stated that individuals found engaged in the sale, distribution, transportation, possession, trafficking or peddling of banned substances—including narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, illicit liquor, ganja, sunflower drugs and other intoxicants will face firm legal action under the Azha and laws of the Government. The order emphasizes that no person will be exempted from enforcement regardless of status or position.
The notice further cautions against unauthorized collaboration with Assam Rifles in organizing or sponsoring excursion and exposure trips for students within the jurisdiction of Chakhesang Region. The Regional Authority clarified that such activities are not recognized or permitted, warning that individuals or groups involved will be held fully accountable for any consequences arising from such engagements.
Citizens, village authorities, student bodies and organizations have been urged to extend full cooperation in maintaining law, order and collective interests. The directive, issued in the interest of public safety, social harmony and welfare, comes into immediate effect and will remain binding until further orders.
