Dimapur POCSO case: Third accused in police custody

DIMAPUR, JUN 8 (NPN): Dimapur Police on Monday said that the third accused in the alleged sexual assault (POCSO) case involving a minor girl was arrested on June 7. According to a press note issued by DCP (Crime) and PRO Dimapur Police, the accused has been identified as Akangkokba Ao (68), son of late Imsunukshi of Unger village and presently residing at Residency Colony, Dimapur. With this, the police have so far arrested three persons in connection with the alleged sexual assault case, including O Watimeren Jamir and Tsuktimongba Ao.
