Nagaland taekwondo team shines at 1st Sikkim Open International Championship

DIMAPUR, JUN 10 (NPN): A 14-member contingent from the Nagaland Taekwondo Association (NTA) showcased commendable performance at the 1st Sikkim Open International Taekwondo Championship held at Palzor Stadium, Gangtok, Sikkim from June 6 to 8.
Nagaland athletes secured a total of seven medals, including three gold, three silver and one bronze.
The gold medal winners were Bovito Chophy, Lika Aye and Yanpothung Ezung. Silver medals were bagged by Victor Tep Rengma, Rhonbeni Lotha and Alem Aier, while Solan C. Ngullie and Mhonbeni T. Humtsoe clinched bronze.
The team was led by Santsuthung Ngullie as team coach and Ram Bahadur as team manager.
