DIMAPUR: Tovra Works, Nagaland’s emerging career training and skill development brand, on June 10 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NSACS City Barn, a youth health and wellness initiative of the Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS), Government of Nagaland.
The ceremony, held at the NSACS office in Kohima, was formalised by NSACS project director Ahu Sekhose and Tovra Works co founder and former Additional Director of Tourism, Tiarenla Rutsa.
A press release from Tovra Works informed that, for the first time in the state, a youth health organisation and a career training institution have come together to address both dimensions of young people’s struggles—the dangerous intersection of unemployment, purposelessness and vulnerability.
It added that the MoU seeks to build pathways and create a structured, dignified and stigma free referral corridor, connecting youth from City Barn’s network directly to Tovra Works’ career training programmes.
