KOHIMA, JUN 21 (NPN): Chakhro Angami Kuda Union (CAKU) elected a new team of office bearers for the tenure 2026–2028 during its general meeting and induction programme held at Phevima Village, Dimapur.
The newly elected team comprised Virhi Keretsü as president, Vikie Nagi and Atho o Dzüvichü as vice presidents, Mhashevikho Zao as general secretary, Rukusuto Ltu as assistant general secretary, Kenny Nakhro as information and publicity secretary, and Kevin Whuorie as treasurer.
The programme was chaired by vice president Vikie Nagi, with invocation pronounced by associate pastor of SABC, Keneileto Sophie. Outgoing president Rovisielie Nakhro delivered the presidential address, while general secretary Virhi Keretsü presented the secretary’s report. The audit report was presented by audit convenor Ketoulelie Nagi.
The newly elected executive team was announced by nomination committee convenor Thejangulie Kire, followed by a dedicatory prayer offered by pastor of CRC Phevima, Mhalevi Zhotso.
In his address, newly elected president Virhi Keretsü outlined the union’s commitment to work collectively for the welfare and progress of the community during the new tenure.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Teiso Solo.
