DIMAPUR: NEISSR, Chümoukedima, in collaboration with the India Social Responsibility Network (ISRN), organised a one day workshop on Cyber Security and Social Stock Exchange (SSE) awareness for NGOs and CSOs of North East India on June 16,2026.
The programme brought together representatives of NGOs, CSOs, academicians, development professionals and experts to strengthen institutional capacities in cyber security, governance, transparency and sustainable resource mobilisation.
Introducing the workshop, Ashish Mansharamani, associate director of ISRN, underscored the importance of cyber security for organisations handling sensitive information and explained the significance of SSE as a transparent platform connecting social organisations with investors and donors.
Santosh Gupta, CEO of ISRN, presented an overview of ISRN’s mission and contributions in education, healthcare, livelihood, environment, women’s empowerment and skill development, while encouraging organisations in the North East to explore CSR and SSE opportunities.
A technical session was delivered by Vimal Bhatter, deputy general manager, SEBI, who explained the SSE regulatory framework, eligibility criteria, disclosure norms and compliance requirements. He said the platform placed measurable social impact and accountability at its core. The workshop also featured a live demonstration on SSE registration by Shiwani Mundra, and a special cyber security session by Anindita Mishra and Naman Shridhar from CyberPeace.
