BPCL donates teaching aids and IT equipment to Fazl Ali College

DIMAPUR: The Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, contributed Teaching Aids and IT Equipment including All-in-One PCs, Interactive Smart Boards and PA Lectern Systems to Fazl Ali College (FAC), Mokokchung on July 8. The inaugural programme was held at the college premises with Nagaland Legislative Assembly Speaker, Sharingain Longkumer, gracing the occasion as the special guest.
According to a DIPR report, addressing the gathering, Longkumer expressed gratitude to BPCL for its CSR initiative, noting that the support would significantly strengthen the teaching and learning process for both faculty and students. He emphasized that CSR is an important responsibility through which public sector undertakings contribute to the welfare and development of society. Encouraging students, he stressed that academic excellence must be complemented with life skills to prepare young people for meaningful participation in nation-building. He also urged the institution to ensure proper maintenance and optimum utilization of the equipment so that it benefits both present and future generations of students.
Short speeches were delivered by Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Ajit Kumar Verma; Manager Sales, Nagaland and Manipur BPCL, Abishek Paul; and Principal, FAC, Dr. I. Wati Imchen, all of whom acknowledged the contribution as a step toward enhancing academic excellence. The benediction and dedicatory prayer was offered by the associate pastor (W), Chuchuyimpang Baptist Church.
