DIMAPUR: Phek Town Council (PTC) celebrated the 2nd anniversary of its formation on July 9, 2026 at Phek town.
Speaking on the occasion, PTC chairperson Shevohu Nienu reaffirmed the council’s commitment to serve the people with transparency, accountability and dedication. “With the continued support and cooperation of all council members, we believe we can achieve greater milestones in the years ahead,” he said.
He expressed gratitude to the district administration, law enforcing agencies and NGOs for their support towards the development of Phek town.
The celebration was attended by Phek Deputy Commissioner Rhosietho Nguori, Superintendent of Police Dr. Pritpal Kaur, 39th Assam Rifles commandant Lt. Colonel Pabitra Mazumder, ADC & EO Phek Thejakhrienuo Nisa, and several other dignitaries. The programme was chaired by Seyieveto Lohe.
