Kudecho urges entrepreneurship for growth at Chozuba meet

DIMAPUR: Advisor for CAWD, Kudecho Khamo, on Saturday encouraged entrepreneurship as a driver of economic growth while addressing the Chozuba Assembly Constituency (AC) Entrepreneurs’ Meet, an initiative under the LADF, held at Chozuba Town.
Khamo said every profession has its own merit, but entrepreneurship-though relatively new-requires creativity and risk taking. He described entrepreneurs as the “engine of progress” who generate employment and contribute to nation building through GST. Stressing that “thinking is the capital, enterprise the way, and hard work the solution,” he urged aspiring entrepreneurs to pursue innovation with a willing heart and positive attitude.
He called for a movement to promote locally produced items to reach markets beyond the state, highlighting Chief Minister’s Micro Finance Initiative (CMMFI) and Nagaland Skill & Entrepreneurship Development Mission (NSEDM) as viable opportunities for business growth. Observing that food processing and food products hold significant potential, he encouraged entrepreneurs to remain focused, avoid pessimism and strive for success.
Earlier, Vevohu Epao, president of the 18th Chozuba AC NPF, delivered the welcome address, appreciating the advisor’s initiative to uplift the business community. The programme, led by Razukuyi Khusoh, president of the Youth Wing, began with an invocation by Vekusa Lohe, pastor of Chozuba Town Baptist Church, followed by interactive discussions with Sevonyi Keyho, chairman of CTC, and Thepukrayi Nienu, general secretary of the 18th Chozuba AC NPF.
