JSUN, JPYO warn against obstruction of development

DIMAPUR: Jalukie Students’ Union Nagaland (JSUN) and Jalukie Pumling Youth Organisation (JPYO) have expressed appreciation to the government for the developmental initiatives being undertaken across Jalukie Town and its surrounding villages.
In a joint statement, the organisations said the ongoing efforts have accelerated the growth of Jalukie Valley, making it one of the fastest developing regions and bringing tangible benefits to the people. They urged the concerned authorities and implementing agencies to maintain the momentum and ensure timely completion of all ongoing projects, particularly critical road and infrastructure works, so that the benefits of development reach every section of society without delay.
Reaffirming their support for all lawful developmental activities undertaken in the larger public interest, JSUN and JPYO cautioned that any individual, group or organisation attempting to obstruct, disrupt or deliberately hinder development works within Jalukie jurisdiction will be held accountable under the law.
The organisations stated that such acts are a direct affront to the aspirations and welfare of the people and will be met with firm opposition through all lawful and democratic means. They further pledged to stand resolute in protecting the interests of the people and ensuring that the march of development continues unhindered.
