DNNRE condemns assault, robbery of senior citizen

DIMAPUR: Dimapur Nkonjan Nyiro Range Ekhung (DNNRE) has strongly condemned the recent robbery and assault of a senior citizen from Longla village.
In a statement, DNNRE described the act of blindfolding and robbing an elderly person as deeply disturbing, inhumane and wholly unacceptable. It expressed profound concern and outrage over the cowardly act against a vulnerable member of society, noting that such crimes violate the dignity and safety of the victim while undermining the values of respect, peace and security cherished by the community.
The organisations urged law enforcement authorities to conduct an immediate and thorough investigation, identify those responsible and ensure that they are brought to justice without delay.
