DIMAPUR, JUL 13 (NPN): Nagaland joined the rest of the country in observing a one-day State Mourning on July 13, in line with the Government of India’s decision, as a mark of respect following the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Father Amir of the State of Qatar, on July 12. During the period of mourning, the National Flag was flown at half-mast on all buildings throughout the State where it is flown regularly. There was also no official entertainment on the day.
