IMD forecasts heavy rain across NE states

DIMAPUR, JUL 13 (NPN): India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall was likely to continue over North East region during next three-four days.
In its daily weather bulletin, the India Meteorological Department stated that fairly widespread to widespread rainfall was likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during July 14-19, 2026
It stated that isolated thunderstorm & lightning was likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during the same period.
IMD also predicted very heavy (12-20 cm in 24 hrs) isolated Rainfall over Kohima and Peren and heavy (7-11 cm in 24 hrs) isolated rainfall over Zunheboto, Tuensang, Dimapur & Mokokchung during July 13-14.
