Imchen’s Custom Art School celebrated its third foundation day at the AG Council Hall, Kohima, on July 11.
Addressing the programme, proprietor of the school, Moa Imchen, a 3D animator and architectural designer, thanked the participants for attending the celebration, noting that a good number of students turned up despite the ongoing summer vacation.
He said the school offers courses in art, crafts, clay modelling, 3D animation and basic 3D architectural design. Emphasising its inclusive approach, he stated that the institution also provides learning opportunities for children with special needs .
Encouraging students to pursue their creativity, Imchen said art helps develop problem-solving abilities, self-expression and confidence. He described the school as a place where students are encouraged to experiment with new ideas, learn from mistakes and transform their imagination into meaningful creations.
Highlighting the school’s activities over the past three years, he said it has organised various art competitions and programmes to mark occasions such as World TB Day, World Music Day, World No Tobacco Day and World Environment Day.
He also noted that students of the school have won accolades in various categories through their participation in inter-school art competitions.
