DIMAPUR: St. Xavier College, Jalukie celebrated its Graduation Day 2026 on July 18 at the college auditorium under the theme “Celebrating Excellence, Honouring Achievement, Embracing New Beginning.”
Elias T. Lotha, Transport Commissioner, graced the occasion as guest of honour. The programme began with the Word of God by Lungcetyile, followed by a prayer song presented by Chagaliu Pamai. Greetings were extended by Rev. Fr. Dr. Johnson V. U.
The celebration featured a duet by Yiduachube and Tabamyile, a musical presentation by Alex and Co., and an address by the guest of honour, who delivered his message to the graduating students. One of the highlights was the honouring of graduates for their academic achievements, followed by an oath taking ceremony.
A cultural dance showcasing the rich heritage of the students added colour to the event. Khengdau delivered the valedictory message, reflecting on the graduates’ journey and future responsibilities. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Levi Pame, the college anthem and refreshments.
