DIMAPUR: Department of Education, Modern College, Piphema, organised Education Fair 2026 on July 17, providing students with a vibrant platform to showcase creativity, innovation and practical applications of educational concepts.
The programme began with a welcome address by Kekhrivi, followed by an introductory speech from Debasish Bora, Assistant Professor, who highlighted the objectives of the fair and stressed the importance of creativity, experiential learning and effective use of teaching learning materials in modern education. The fair was formally inaugurated by Dr. Vitso Yano, principal, Modern College, Piphema.
A total of 26 participants presented self designed educational models, teaching aids and interactive exhibits on diverse themes. The displays reflected creativity, critical thinking and practical understanding of educational theories and methodologies.
The event also provided opportunities for participants to strengthen communication, presentation and teamwork skills while fostering peer learning and exchange of ideas.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Cilule Ndang, Assistant Professor, Department of Education. The Education Fair ended on a successful note, reaffirming the department’s commitment to promoting innovative teaching practices and experiential learning.
