Open badminton trials scheduled in Kohima on July 25

Kohima, Jul 21 (NPN): The Kohima District Badminton Association (KDBA) has announced that it will conduct open selection trials for the upcoming Inter-District Badminton Tournament on July 25 at the Indoor Badminton Stadium, Officer’s Hill Thegabakha, Kohima, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Shuttlers from Kohima district have been invited to participate across senior (men and women), junior (boys and girls), and sub-junior (boys and girls) categories. For veterans, the selection trials will be held separately on August 8, 2026. The Association has encouraged all aspiring and talented players to seize the opportunity to represent Kohima at the state level, urging participants to report on time in proper sports attire for registration and briefing.
