DIMAPUR, JUL 22 (NPN): The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU), in a memorandum to the vice-chancellor of Nagaland University, has demanded urgent corrective measures in response to widespread anomalies in the recently declared Undergraduate FYUGP Semester Examination results.
ANCSU through its president Kivika Yeptho and general secretary Sotilo also called for immediate review of evaluation and tabulation in subjects where large numbers of students have reported discrepancies.
ANCSU has also demanded Revision of re-evaluation policy to allow all students, irrespective of marks secured, to apply for re-evaluation—subject to principal recommendation to prevent frivolous cases.
Further, ANCSU has demanded timely completion of the re-evaluation process to avoid academic delays.
Also ANCSU has demanded strict adherence to the prescribed Rs. 450 fee per paper, prohibiting unauthorized additional charges by colleges.

The Union expressed “deep anguish” at what it described as the University’s “unprofessional and insincere” approach to result declaration, warning that anomalies have eroded confidence in fairness and transparency. It noted cases of students with consistent performance being declared unsuccessful, unusually low marks including single-digit scores, and errors in subject tabulation.
ANCSU further criticized irregular fee collection by colleges, saying such practices impose undue financial burdens. It urged the University to act swiftly to safeguard student interests and uphold examination credibility.
