DIMAPUR, JUL 22 (NPN): The Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA) on Wednesday inducted its new office bearers for the tenure 2026-29 at a programme held at Hotel Japfü, Kohima.
The new team will be headed by Mhalelhou Mere as president, with Hetuo Solo as vice president (Administration), Neivikhotuo Vielie as vice president (Sports), Vikhozolie Rülho as secretary, Dr. Keneikhoto Yano as joint secretary, Keviselhou Peseyie as treasurer, Vilesü Mekro as technical secretary and Visasilie Suhu as advisor.
Announcing the new team, convenor of the Nomination Committee, Neivikhotuo Vielie, formally declared the office bearers. Earlier, Keneilezo Sechü exhorted the gathering, while the induction ceremony was chaired by Mhalevilie Kere. Neikhrielie Mere invoked blessings during the programme.
Outgoing president Visasilie Suhu and newly inducted president Mhalelhou Mere also addressed the gathering, highlighting the association’s vision for volleyball development in the district.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Khrietuo Angami.
