Nagaland govt constitutes manpower panel

DIMAPUR: Government of Nagaland has constituted a Working Group on Comprehensive Rationalisation of Manpower, with a mandate to undertake a state wide review of all departments, directorates, subordinate and field offices, boards, corporations, government institutions and state public sector undertakings.
The Working Group will assess the functional justification for posts presently existing in such establishments and recommend a rationalised staffing structure consistent with the fiscal consolidation targets of the state. All departments and government establishments have been directed to furnish their post wise establishment data in the prescribed proforma, duly signed by the HoD and countersigned by the Administrative Head of Department, on or before August 7, 2026.
