DIMAPUR, JUL 27 (NPN): The inaugural Nagaland Pickleball Masters 2026 concluded on Sunday after three days of thrilling competition at The Fitness House, Dimapur. Held from July 24–26, the tournament showcased competitive excellence, community spirit and the growing popularity of pickleball in Nagaland.
The event featured eight competitive categories and drew players from across India, further strengthening Nagaland’s position on the country’s pickleball map. The closing ceremony was graced by advisor Department of Agriculture, Government of Nagaland, Mhathung Yanthan, MLA and who attended as chief guest.
Open category results
Men’s Doubles Open: Aditya Singh & Megotsolie Khate defeated Mayank SD & Zhaputso Khate in the final.
Women’s Doubles Open: Racheal Jones & Elona Ayemi claimed the title, with Manaswinee Hazarika & Nayeem Hussain finishing runners-up.
Mixed Doubles Open: Manaswinee Hazarika & Vilasier Khate emerged champions, while Arjun Singh & Vivian Kiba secured second place.

Split Mixed Doubles 75+: Vilasier Khate & Naomi Zhimomi (Champions); Abu Metha & Racheal Jones (runners-up).
Men’s Doubles 40+: Abu Metha & Vikho Khate (champions); Lhouvi & Mongden (runners-up).
Men’s Doubles 45+: Imli Subong & Ringo Odyuo (champions); Abu Metha & Rohan Abraham (runners-up).
Mixed Doubles 40+: Vikho Khate & Toshi (Champions); Kuchi & Naomi (runners-up).
Adding to the excitement was the Champion of Champions event, a special gender-neutral format that brought together players across categories. Aditya Singh claimed the coveted title.
The tournament also featured exhibition matches, offering spectators a chance to witness some of India’s finest pickleball talent in action.
Organisers expressed gratitude to players, officials, volunteers, sponsors, partners, media representatives and fans for their support, noting that the inaugural edition marked a milestone in the growth of pickleball in the Northeast.
