DIMAPUR: The Catholic Association of Nagaland (CAN) has expressed profound grief at the sudden demise of president of the Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA), Vilanuo Angela Yhome. Remembered as a humble and hardworking leader, Yhome was a devout Catholic who served with sincerity in various Church Laity Associations.
In a condolence message, the association described her as a woman of zeal and dedication who lived a life of preparation for heaven by serving people wholeheartedly. “We are grateful to God for the gift of our beloved sister, Angela Yhome, for coming into our lives,” the statement read.
The Catholic community conveyed solidarity with the bereaved family, noting that no human words can console such loss, but faith in Christ’s promise of eternal life offers comfort. The Association prayed for her eternal rest, affirming that her legacy of service will remain an inspiration.
