IMD predicts heavy rain in Nagaland, NE

DIMAPUR, AUG 4 (NPN): India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall over North East region during next two days and isolated heavy rainfall for subsequent five days.
In its weather bulletin, the Met department has forecast fairly widespread to widespread rainfall over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during August 5-10 and isolated thunderstorm & lightning over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during August 5-8.
IMD also stated that isolated heavy rainfall was likely over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during August 5-10.
Meanwhile, Meteorological Centre, Kohima has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall over Kohima and heavy (7-11 cm in 24 hrs) rainfall over Mon, Longleng, Peren & Wokha on August 5.
