Traffic advisory issued on NH 29 landslide

DIMAPUR: Deputy Commissioner, Phek, has issued a traffic advisory informing that vehicular movement along NH 29, Kohima Jessami Road under Mesulumi Village will remain suspended following a major landslide/mudslide at Chainage 78+000 and 79+836 under Package IV.
During the restriction period, commuters have been advised to use alternate routes: For Heavy and Light Motor Vehicles: Pfutsero Town-Porba-Sakraba-Middle Khomi-Phek Village-Lanezho road and vice versa and for Light Motor Vehicles only: Pfutsero Town-Tsupfume-Thetsumi-Chizami road and vice versa.
The construction company, Keystone Infra Pvt. Ltd., has been directed to complete road clearance works at the earliest. The advisory will remain in force until further notice.
