Coordination meets for I-Day celebration at Tuli, Chiephobozou

DIMAPUR: In preparation for the forthcoming 80th Independence Day celebration, coordination meetings were convened in Tuli Sub-Division and Chiephobozou to ensure smooth conduct of the national event.
According to a DIPR report, at Tuli, the meeting was held on August 6 at the Dobashi’s Court under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Imsenperong Wati. Heads of Departments, representatives of educational institutions and other stakeholders attended the meeting, where discussions focused on arrangements and responsibilities for the celebration.
Similarly, at Chiephobozou, a coordination meeting was held on August 5 at the ADC’s office. EAC Viketoulie Metha, welcomed the members and briefed them on the upcoming celebration. Various assignments were discussed and distributed among departments and institutions, with the administration designated as the overall in-charge of work assignments. The EAC urged officials to coordinate effectively and attend the function, stressing the importance of collective effort for the successful conduct of the programme.
The meeting was attended by Heads of Offices, uniformed personnel, educational institutions, NGOs, Gaon Buras and councillors of Chiephobozou Town Council, reflecting broad participation from different sectors.
