Dimapur: Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) unveiled its Golden Jubilee logo at the KCCI Office, Kohima, on August 7, marking the opening of the Chamber’s fiftieth year since its formation in 1976.
The logo was unveiled by Medozhatuo Rutsa, convenor of the Golden Jubilee Organising Committee, in the presence of members, office bearers and invitees. The programme was chaired by KCCI president Ruokuoneilie Kesiezie, while Visato Yhoshü, pastor, UBC, invoked blessings.
In his remarks, Kesiezie said the logo carries the years 1976–2026 beneath the Chamber’s emblem. A golden ring encircling the emblem symbolises wealth and eternity, while golden leaves flanking it signify victory and achievement. He explained that the elements together reflect KCCI’s five decades of service to the business community of the state capital.
Designed by Vithuse Temi, secretary (sanitation), the president said the logo “belongs to every member who kept the Chamber standing for fifty years. It marks where we have come from and commits us to the traders and entrepreneurs who will carry Kohima’s economy into the next fifty.”
