DIMAPUR: Department of History, Dimapur Government College (DGC) launched the MA (History) programme under NEP 2020 on August 10, 2026.
The course was formally launched by Dr. T. Tiakaba Jamir, principal, Dimapur Government College, in the presence of heads of departments, faculty, staff and newly admitted postgraduate students.
The department and the principal expressed gratitude to Temjen Imna Along, inister for Higher Education and Tribal Affairs, V. Lovitoly Sema, ex officio director of Higher Education, the Vice Chancellor of Nagaland University, and department officials for making this historic milestone a reality.
