DIMAPUR, AUG 15 (NPN): Nagaland Lok Sabha MP, S Supongmeren Jamir, has been elected as a member of the Lok Sabha to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guwahati.
According to Lok Sabha Bulletin No. 5973 dated August 7, the election was held pursuant to a motion adopted by the Lok Sabha on July 28 for the election of one member to AIIMS Guwahati. The election was necessitated by the vacancy following the resignation of Pradyut Bordoloi from the Lok Sabha.
