KOHIMA, AUG 18 (NPN): Vanguard Academy and Tsütüonuomia Youth Organisation (TYO) played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in Match 6 of the ongoing Atuo Mezhür Sekhose Super League 2026 (AMSSL) at the IG Stadium, Kohima on Tuesday.
TYO took an early lead through Toka A Achumi (8), who found the net in the 17th minute. Vanguard Academy responded quickly with Hiti Seb (10) restoring parity in the 19th minute.
Toka then struck again in the 24th minute to put TYO 2-1 ahead. The match remained closely contested thereafter, with both sides looking to gain control of the game.
Vanguard Academy eventually found the equaliser in the 78th minute when Hiti Seb scored his second goal of the match, completing his brace and ensuring the two teams shared the points.
TYO’s Thejangulie Suohu (24) was shown a yellow card in the 29th minute.
Ketouneilhou Khezhie, vice president of the Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), was the match patron.
The next match is scheduled for Wednesday, with Nurturing Youngsters FC set to face Mez & Co at 3 p.m.
