Dimapur Police informs on recovery of unidentified bodies

DIMAPUR: Dimapur Police has informed on the recovery of two unidentified dead bodies on separate occasions, on August 17 and 19.
According to DCP (Crime) and PRO, Sub-Urban PS on August 17 received telephonic information about one male dead unidentified body lying at Rail bazaar Dimapur.
On receipt of information, personnel rushed to PO for verification and conducted inquest over the body.
Police ascertained cause of death as suspected to be of normal and starvation and after completion of all legal formalities, the deceased was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur Morgue for PM examination/identification.
Claimant/ relatives/ friends of the deceased are requested to contact the Officer-in-Charge, Sub-Urban PS at 7085055026.
Meanwhile, the DCP (Crime) and Pro further informed that a dead body one unidentified male non-local dead body (35-40 yrs approx.) was found lying between km 259/4 to 259/3.
On receipt of information, the duty party rushed to the PO site for verification, and ascertained cause of death due to illness.
On completion of all legal formalities, the deceased body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur Morgue for PM examination/identification.
The police has described the deceased to be wearing black long pant with orange color t-shirt.
